Easter

Okay this post is pretty late. But I am a slacker if you haven't figured it out already. We got back from the cruise the day before Easter. We hadn't planned on doing anything but our friends the Birds and Jorgensens' had a good of idea of celebrating it together at our house. Our backyard is really big and perfect for hiding eggs. Our friends were nice enough to prepare the whole meal, minus the ham, because they knew we would be so tired. So after conference they came over and we ate a delicious dinner while the kids played. Then we hid I think it was 310 eggs (for 8 kids). We hid some in all the plants, trees and things like that, but then we just threw the rest on the grass.

With a few of his eggs. Josh liked to shake them to make sure there was something good inside.
Ryan was pretty grumpy the whole day. He spent most of it crying even when he was outside. But he did spend a moment of two happy. This was one of them. He found an egg that someone had dropped and the candy had spilled out. So he put it in his mouth. He wasn't too happy though when we pulled it out because he was eating the foil wrapper.

We tried to take a family pic. It turned out okay except for the extremely bright light.

All the kids with some of the eggs. Ryan was not a happy camper. He never acts like this so it made me feel really bad.

Two week before Easter we took the kids Easter pics. They were somewhat cooperative. Well Lexie and Josh were. Ryan wanted to go exploring.

Aren't they cute?
