Here we are in the racquetball court playing dodgeball. The adult men were throwing it really hard and unfortunately Josh got in the way one time. But after crying for a minute he went back in.
Here is one of the showers in the big house. Joshua had a major obsession with showers. The only way we could get him to go through a whole house was to tell him to go find the showers.
We have said go and they are off. Except Clara (BJ's little girl). She must not have his love of racing.
While there we also celebrated Valentines. Obviously since we were all together no one got alone dates. None of us were willing to be selfless and be left with the kids while the other ones went out and so we all stayed home. My family has a tradition of Ding Dong Ditching our gifts to each other. So after dinner we got the kids in their jammies and the fun began. Man it was pretty chaotic. Usually it is just Eric and I coordinating who leaves what but this time there were 18 people there. And everyone wanted to do their own family. And then the kids had made valentines to give away too.
This was the first time the doorbell rang and the kids weren't quite sure. They were staring at everything as if they weren't sure what to do. When they realized they had something they got pretty excited.
They have finally got the hang of it and now are excited every time the doorbell rings. They loved seeing what everyone got. It was nice doing it with my parents because they all got us stuff too. Yeah it felt like Christmas all over again. J/K
Eric even got into it as he raced Josh to the door and was stepping over him to get to his stuff. Man Eric, let the kids get theirs first.
Overall the weekend was a good one. I got to eat out and Eric got to see the houses and the kids got to play with their cousins. Plus there was tons of chocolate. Which I loved eating but hated going to the dr. for my pregnant appt and being weighed. I swear why do they weigh you every time? It takes all the fun out of being able to eat a little bit more.
